About our apartment house, it's surrounding nature and entertainment possibilities

In a small place Ribarica (5 km north of Karlobag) underneath the great mountain of Velebit you can spend a peaceful and relaxing vacations in many apartment houses one of which is Ana-Marija.
The house consists of 5 apartments: Ap.1 with 2+2 beds, Ap.2 with 5+1 beds, Ap. 3 with 3+2 beds, Ap.4 with 2+1 beds and Ap.5 with 8+2 beds. Apartments 1, 2 and 3 are on the first floor, and apartments 4 and 5 on the ground floor. All apartments are standardly equiped (air-condition, TV/SAT, kitchen with fridge+freezer and oven, dish, towels, sheets, blankets...), have parking spaces and each has his own terrace with beautiful look on the Adriatic and the island of Pag.
Only Ap.5 has its own washing machine, but also guests from other apartments can wash their clothes simply by asking the owner Ana who will wash it (and many times also hang it to dry) free of charge.
Groceries & Shopping & Restaurants:
There is a small (and expensive) grocery shop in Ribarica, some 500 meter from the house, but it is opened only in July and August.
For any bigger shopping you can go in Karlobag where there are more and bigger grocery shops.
The closest big shopping malls are in closest big cities: Gospic, which is 45 km east of us, Senj, which is 60 km north of us or Zadar, which is 100 km south from Ribarica.
The nearest restaurant is 150 m from us, another one is 300 m from us, another one is 500 m from us and there is a couple more restaurants in Karlobag, one of which delivers pizza.
The Beach & The Sea:
The beach in Ribarica, as you can see on some pictures, is somewhere rocky, somewhere more or less arranged with concrete and somewhere pebbly.
You can take a boat and go on the island Pag in search of your own private beach, if you want. Most of east side of the island Pag is uninhabited because of strong winds during the autumn, winter and spring, so you won't have any problems finding your own private place there.
The Adriatic is really clear in this part of its coast, beneath the mountain of Velebit, because there are very little full-year inhabitants, there is no industry and on many places across the coast beneath Velebit there are underground sources of sweet (river) water. So don't be surprised if on some places water is very cold and not so salty. But in front of our house, where most of our guests are bathing, water is normally warm and pleasent for bathing.
Temperature of the Adriatic sea in Karlobag area is somewhere between 20 and 27 degrees of Celsius in July, August and September, between 17 and 22 in June and October, between 15 and 20 in May and November, and between 9 and 16 in the rest of the year.

We don't accept dogs.
We allow smoking on the terraces, but not in the apartments.
We can recommend some of our neighbours, if our apartments are reserved.

ADVANCE PAYMENT:
20-30 % of the total sum has to be payed on our bank account (using IBAN and BIC) upon confirmation of the booking.
TERMS OF CANCELLATION:
Cancellation more than 30 days before the booking period - we return 100% of deposit.
Cancellation 15-30 days before the booking period - we return 50% of deposit.
Cancellation 0-14 days before the booking period - we return 0% of deposit.
